Job Description 

  • Candidates working at this post are required to perform tests and diagnostic examinations on patients but not limited to tonometry, audiograms, visual acuity, phlebotomy, processing and accessioning working at this post.  
  • Candidates for this post are also required to commit to continuous learning and becoming knowledgeable and proficient with new processes working at this post. 
  • Candidates for this post are also required to collaborate with medical, kinesiology and dietitian staff for a thorough understanding of their specific needs. 
  • Applicants for this post are also appointed to collaborate with CSC and CCC staff regarding client bookings, etc. 
  • Candidates at this post are also required for shipping and analysis of samples at this post. 

Job requirement 

  • Applicants for this post must have a minimum of 1 year of practical work experience in phlebotomy and performing ECGs to be eligible for this post.  
  • Candidates for this post must acquire a strong knowledge of desktop computer systems and Microsoft Office to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must acquire exceptional organizational and customer service skills. 
  • Candidates must acquire Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification along with a dedicated CPR Certification to be preferred for this post. 
  • They must have dedicated knowledge and experience working with Med Access, our Electronic Medical Record System. 

Work setting 

  • Candidates for this post must acquire a dedicated certification in Audiometry or Spirometry to be eligible for this post.
