Job Description
- The candidate must train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and assistants.
- The candidate will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff.
- The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations.
- The candidate must clean the kitchen and work areas.
- The candidate must keep inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals as well as individual dishes and foods.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate will be responsible for the supervision of cooks (general).
- The candidate must have a Safe Food Handling certificate and a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

- The candidate should be able to work in fast food outlet or concession featuring a minimal menu, pre-cooked or quickly prepared food, and take-out operations.
