Job Description

  • The candidate will be expected to gather financial and investment information about companies, stocks, bonds, and other investments.
  • The candidate will be expected to examine and analyse financial and investment data (profiles of companies, stock or bond prices, yields and future trends)
  • The candidate will be expected to prepare company, industry, and economic outlooks, analytical reports, briefing notes, and correspondence.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide investment advice and recommendations to clients, senior company officials, pension fund managers, securities agents, and associates.
  • The candidate must advise on and participate in the financial aspects of contracts and tenders.
  • The candidate will be expected to analyse investment projects.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist in the preparation of operating and investment budgets.
  • The candidate will be expected to create, implement, and use tools for managing and analysing financial portfolios.
  • The candidate will be expected to evaluate financial risk, prepare financial forecasts, financing scenarios, and other capital management documents.
  • The candidate must plan short- and long-term cash flows and evaluate financial performance.
  • The candidate must create a regular risk profile for debt portfolios.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/commerce, general, accounting, and finance.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work setting

  • The candidate will be required to work in an investment firm.
