Job description
- Candidates will collaborate with FPInnovations on the installation of a wood gasification Combined Heat and Power plant.
- They will operate and maintain the CHP plant for education.
- They are responsible for demonstration, including operating chipping and milling equipment to generate feedstock for the plant.
- They will build, maintain and install small-scale infrastructure, including outhouses, signage, ditches, culverts and fencing.
Job requirement
- Candidates must develop specifications to tender contract work and work with management to administer such contracts, including both service and construction types.
- They ought to ensure a high standard of quality for all external and in-house infrastructure projects and that all appropriate codes, regulations, and safety standards are adhered to.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to liaise with AFRF Safety Representative.
- They should possess the capability to develop new skills that align with mutual interests as AFRF develops and expands.
- They need to be required to work non-standard hours or be on-call outside of regular working hours
