Job description
- Candidates will operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment, while improving processes to minimise disruption to the production line.
- They will troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment unique to automotive manufacturing.
- They will perform preventative maintenance on highly automated equipment in accordance with standardised procedures to maintain equipment performance to achieve equipment uptime and production line targets.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have valid certification as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent.
- They should possess the knowledge of Canadian electrical codes and regulations.
- They should have experience in industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Work setting
- Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- They ought to possess basic hand and power tool proficiency.
- They need to acquire strong communication and teamwork skills.
