Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to take customers’ orders
  • The candidate will be required to serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • The candidate would be responsible for keeping records of the quantities of food used
  • The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • The candidate would be in charge of packaging take-out food
  • The candidate will be required to remove dishes and break down trays when indicated to do so.
  • The candidate would be responsible for monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
  • The candidate must ensure that the food is served in the proper portion, arrangement, and garnish.
  • The candidate will be required to serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacle.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping the dining room tables cleaned and organized throughout service.
  • The candidate must maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • The candidate will be required to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • The candidate would be responsible for developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • The candidate must ensure that quality expectations and standards are met.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.

Dishwashing Skills

  • The candidate will be required to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • The candidate will be required to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
  • The candidate would be responsible for operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
  • The candidate will be required to place and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
  • The candidate will be required to maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
  • The candidate must not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without first washing their hands.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping trash cans clean throughout the shift and removing full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping the dry storage area clean and organising the storage shelves.
  • The candidate would be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.

Kitchen Helpers Skills

  • The candidate would be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • The candidate will be required to handle and store cleaning products
  • The candidate will be required to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment
  • The candidate would be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • The candidate would be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
  • The candidate would be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • The candidate would be responsible for preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • The candidate will be required to make sure that the kitchen equipment are well cleaned after use.
  • The candidate must ensure that there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate should have prior experience using a grill, a deep fryer and a Conventional oven.
  • The candidate must be able to operate Electronic cash register.
  • The candidate will be required to use food dispensers.
