Job Description

  • Applicants who applied for this post are also required to review and analyze internal and divisional investigation reports on Human Rights and Workplace Harassment and Violence complaints and determine appropriate actions working at this post.
  • Candidates are also accountable for facilitating early and timely resolution of disputes and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies and collective agreements working at this post.
  • People applied for this post to represent the Corporation in a variety of legal settings and participate, defend and provide testimony to support the outcome of the investigation working at this post.
  • Candidates interested in this post to act as the Subject Matter Expert on Human Rights and Workplace Harassment and Violence matters working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Industrial Relations, Law, Human Rights, Dispute Resolution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have a dedicated Law degree to be preferred for this post.
  • They must have Two or more years’ experience in Human Rights, Complaint Investigation/Dispute Resolution, Labour Relations or similar work experience.
  • Candidates must attain dedicated knowledge and experience in investigation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) principles for conflict resolution to be eligible for this post.

Work setting

  • Applicants are required to participate in conciliating settlements of Human Rights complaints with the CHRC.
  • Candidates are also accountable for preparing conciliation reports and corporate positions for submission to the CHRC working at this post.
