Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department in order to ensure that the organization’s objectives are met.
- The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resource policies and programs.
- The candidate will be responsible for reviewing HR projects to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- The candidate will be responsible for training employees.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resource policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures.
- The candidate must resolve labour disputes and grievances.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the classification and rating of occupations.
- The candidate must plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
- The candidate must conduct research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
- The candidate will be responsible for administering benefit employment equity and other human resource programs.
- The candidate must manage contracts.
- The candidate must coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
- The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
- The candidate must oversee the analysis of employees data and information.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on employee benefits and health and safety practices, as well as making recommendations.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of communication strategies.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of reports.

- The candidate must respond to employee questions and complaints.
- The candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff.
- The candidate must communicate with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
- The candidate will be responsible for organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll administration.
- The candidate will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff.

Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP).
- The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
