Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resource policies and programs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resource policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • The candidate must plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
  • The candidate must conduct research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
  • The candidate will be responsible for administering benefits, employment equity, and other human resource programs.
  • The candidate must coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
  • The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
  • The candidate must oversee the analysis of employees data and information.
  • The candidate will be expected to conduct research on employee benefits and health and safety practices and make recommendations for changes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff.
  • The candidate must communicate with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
  • The candidate will be responsible for organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for assigning, coordinating, and reviewing projects and programs.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
