Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for assigning projects to subordinates and staff related to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
- The candidate will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department in order to ensure that the organization’s goals are met.
- The candidate must plan and control budgets and expenditures.
- The candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resource policies and programs.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising managers and employees on the interpretation of human resource policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
- The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures.
- The candidate must resolve labour disputes and grievances.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the classification and rating of occupations.
- The candidate must plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
- The candidate must conduct research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
- The candidate will be responsible for administering benefits, employment equity, and other human resource programs.
- The candidate must manage contracts.
- The candidate must coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs.
- The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
- The candidate must oversee the analysis of employees data and information.
- The candidate will be expected to conduct research on employee benefits and health and safety practices and make recommendations for changes.
- The candidate must respond to employee questions and complaints.
- The candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff.
- The candidate must negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
- The candidate will be responsible for organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll administration.
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting performance reviews.
- The candidate must propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
