Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidate will be expected to receive and deliver items as well as messages for visitors.
  • The candidate will be required to provide information on room features, hotel services, and points of interest.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep the luggage storage area clean.
  • The candidate will be expected to handle hotel guests’ luggage.
  • The candidate will be responsible for accompanying incoming guests to their rooms.

  • The candidate will be expected to assist clients or guests with special needs.

  • The candidate will be responsible for organising transportation services for guests on their behalf.
  • The candidate would be responsible for maintaining a safe and tidy environment while also paying attention to clients or service users’ wishes.
  • The candidate should ensure the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing all communication with guests and ensuring satisfaction at the time of check out, as well as monitoring all packages and faxes for guests and redirecting them to the guest room.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain and organise the work area on a regular basis, as well as monitor the cleanliness of the lobby.
  • The candidate will be responsible for liaising with our housekeeping staff to ensure that all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to meet the needs of our guests.

Baggage Porter Specific Skills

  • The candidate will be expected to transport passengers’ luggage by hand or hand truck.
  • The candidate will be responsible for arranging ground transportation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for meeting and greeting guests at the hotel’s entrance.
  • The candidate will be responsible for showing guests to their rooms after check-in and demonstrating how to use all of the room’s amenities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all utilities in the rooms are in perfect working order.

Facilities Workers Specific Skills

  • The candidate will be expected to set up, install, reconfigure, relocate, and demolish temporary partitions and room furnishings.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist with the installation of audiovisual equipment and to assist in the resolution of problems that arise during use.
  • The candidate will be required to perform minor repairs on installations as well as routine maintenance on audiovisual equipment.

  • The candidate should be bondable and easily communicate
