Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to deliver interpretive programs and activities to provide visitors with opportunities to discover, appreciate, learn about and enjoy Pacific Rim and its natural significance.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attains dedicated secondary school diploma or PSC approved alternatives.
- Candidates must ensure successful completion of a minimum of one 1 course relevant to the duties of the position
- They must attain a minimum of three 3 months experience working in the fields of education, interpretation, and outreach-communications.
- Candidates must attain experience in paid or volunteer work interacting with the public in a reception or orientation capacity.
- They must attain dedicated knowledge of Parks Canada operations and the natural and cultural history of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
- They must be able to provide service excellence to internal and external clients.
- Candidates must be Listening to others and communicating articulately to inform, influence and involve.
- They must attain experience working, volunteering, planning and coordinating public events to be eligible for this post.
- They must have experience in contributing to social media content.
Work setting
- They must ensure the Possession and maintenance of a valid class 5 driver’s license to be eligible for this post.
