The City of Surrey has released a notice of hiring eligible applicants for the post of heritage interpreter. Persons who are eligible and willing to join this post can apply for this post. Job Description

  • Candidates applying for this post are required to lead demonstrations and activities.
  • They’re also accountable for assisting in the development of programs and activities as directed while working at this post.
  • People are also required to support volunteers and prepare supplies and equipment for programs working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must have completed Grade 12 supplemented by 1 year of relevant experience in community service work or an equivalent acceptable combination of training and experience to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have a valid Emergency First Aid and CPR Certificate to get preferred for this post.
  • Candidates must have a Foodsafe Level 1 Certificate and must have experience at a Museum or Heritage site to be preferred for this post.
