Job Description
- The candidate will be required to assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, and other metal workers.
- The candidate will be required to sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
- The candidate will be required to grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
- The candidate will be expected to clean machines and immediate work areas.
- The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant either manually or using powered equipment.
- The candidate will be required to load and unload vehicles.
- The candidate will be required to polish metal products to a mirror finish.
- The candidate will be required to read and interpret work orders.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
