Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated Heavy Equipment Technician Certified Journeyperson to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have prior experience in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates applying for this post must acquire dedicated experience in the maintenance and repair of air brake systems to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have prior knowledge of preventative maintenance principles, procedures, and regulations to be preferred for this post.
- Applicants must have dedicated knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to communicate effectively along with the ability to manage conflicting priorities to get preferred for this post.
- Applicants must be able to multitask and work under pressure and must have lifted 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license or equivalent.
- They must ensure the willingness to wear identifier clothing and personal protective equipment to be eligible for this post.
- They must have the willingness to travel and work in a variety of weather conditions and terrain for extended periods.
