Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for providing health information, referral, registration support, and care escalation to patients of the 24/7/365 8-1-1 Operations Virtual Health Services.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- The candidate must have experience delivering a high standard of client service in a high volume, fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- The candidate will be required to have experience or training in word processing, spreadsheet, and other standard computer applications.
- Preference may be given to candidates with relevant experience within a healthcare or emergency response setting.
- The candidate must have the ability to work specific types of shifts, shift patterns, or shift lengths ranging from 7–10 hours.
- The candidate must have the ability to work in a multi-sited office environment.
- The candidate must have the ability to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends to support a 24 hour / 7 day per week contact center environment.
- The candidate will be required to work in an environment where schedules may be reviewed and adjusted annually to meet operational needs.
- The candidate must have the ability to work statutory holidays.
- The candidate must be located in British Columbia at the time of employment.
