Job Description

  • Candidates who applied for this post are required to analyze and interpret health-related data, prepare technical analyses and reports of health data to monitor health status, program planning and evaluation working at this post.
  • People are accountable at this post for responding to questions about the data and requests for information working at this post.
  • People applied for this post to collaborate and work with internal staff, external agencies and other Epidemiology colleagues in the province working at this post.

Job requirement

  • Candidates must have dedicated completion of a 4-year university degree in health science, biostatistics, quantitative geography, economics, or a related field to be eligible for this post.
  • They must have a minimum of 3 years of related experience working with data and/or quantitative analysis in data collection, statistical and others to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have extensive experience using spreadsheets and databases to be preferred for this post.
  • They must have dedicated experience using statistical software, including at least one of SPSS or Stata, to be eligible for this post.
  • People applying for this post must have dedicated experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and other software packages relevant to the analysis and presentation of population health data to be eligible for this post.

Work setting

  • Candidates must have dedicated familiarity with current public health issues, population health indicators, epidemiological concepts, trend analysis and forecasting techniques to be preferred for this post.
