Job Description

  • The candidate must estimate the quantity and cost of supplies and food items.
  • The candidate must maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • The candidate must demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
  • The candidate must supervise the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
  • The candidate must create new recipes.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing cooks on food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
  • The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals as well as specialty foods for events such as banquets.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising cooks and other kitchen personnel.
  • The candidate must prepare and cook food on a regular basis, as well as for special guests or functions.
  • The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
  • The candidate must request for food and kitchen supplies.
  • The candidate must arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for consulting with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and special events.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a Food Safety Certificate.
  • The candidate must have leadership skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
