Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform administrative and office duties.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate will be in charge of food preparation.
  • The candidate will be expected to assess the client’s relevant skill strengths and development needs.
  • The candidate will be expected to resolve conflicts.
  • The candidate will be expected to gather information and write reports or case studies.
  • The candidate will be expected to assess clients’ needs or eligibility for specific services.
  • The candidate will be expected to assist offenders with pre-release and release planning.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide suicide and crisis intervention.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise children’s visits with their parents in order to ensure their safety.
  • The candidate will be expected to supervise the activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses.
  • The candidate will be expected to put in place behaviour management programmes.
  • The candidate will be expected to communicate with other social service agencies and health care providers involved with clients.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • Previous experience is not mandatory.
  • The candidate must have First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Mental health first aid Certificate.
  • The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
  • The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
  • The candidate should be punctual.
  • The candidate should be accountable.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be confident.
  • The candidate should have excellent oral and written communication
