Job Description

The candidate must prepare reports or case histories.
The candidate must perform office and administrative tasks.
The candidate will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs and eligibility for specific services.
The candidate must perform housekeeping duties.
The candidate must provide suicide and crisis intervention.
The candidate must be able resolve conflict situations.
The candidate must supervise the activities of clients living in group homes and halfway houses.
The candidate will be responsible for assisting offenders in pre-release and release planning.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate must hold a College degree, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years in Psychology, general, Social sciences, general, or Criminology.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to supervise 16 to 20 people.
The candidate must have Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Certification, Mental health first aid Certificate, Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
The candidate should be accurate.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate must be flexible.
The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
