Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for carrying customer purchases to the parking lot and packing orders into customers’ vehicles.
The candidate will be responsible for obtaining items from the stockroom or shelves for customers.
The candidate must direct customers to the location of the desired articles.
The candidate must unpack products received from the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
The candidate will be responsible for ordering stock.
The candidate will be responsible for stocking shelves and displaying areas.
The candidate will be responsible for keeping the stock clean and orderly.
The candidate must price the items according to the price list using stickers or stamps.
The candidate must perform general cleaning duties (such as sweeping and mopping floors).
The candidate will be responsible for operating an electrical palette jack.
The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
Candidate having experience is an asset.
The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
The candidate should be client focused.
The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

The work environment is air-conditioned and cold/refrigerated.

Work setting

The candidate must work in the dairy department, frozen foods department, and pharmacy or drugstore.
The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
Work setting provides non-perishable goods.
The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy and busy environment with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, as well as many forklift truck drivers moving pallets between shelves.
