Job Description
- The candidate must apply fertilizers.
- The candidate will be responsible for cutting agricultural crops.
- The candidate must level the earth to fine grade specifications.
- The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
- The candidate must clean the work area.
- The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must have an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Certification.
- The candidate must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.) and more than 45 kg (100 lbs.).
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.

- Farm operations include oilseed (except soybean) farming, other grain farming, and wheat farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty, hot, and dirty conditions.
- The candidate must be willing to work in hazardous conditions.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.

Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience operating a farm truck, forklift, loader, tractor, combine harvester, fertilizer applicator, planting equipment, seed drill, sprayer or duster, swather, tillage equipment, welding equipment, skidsteer, and hand tools.
