Job Description
- The candidate must apply fertilizers.
- The candidate will be responsible for cutting agricultural crops.
- The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- The candidate must clean the work area.
- The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate must have Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Certification and a Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming (including feedlots), corn farming, dry pea and bean farming, oilseed (except soybean) farming, other grain farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, and wheat farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty and hot conditions.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate’s relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.

- The candidate must have experience using farm trucks, loaders, tractors, combine harvesters, planting equipment, seed drills, and sprayers/dusters.
