Job Description

  • The candidate must clean teeth.
  • The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing dental diseases.
  • The candidate must examine patients’ teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue.
  • The candidate must hire and train staff.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing patients on oral hygiene.
  • The candidate must plan dental health treatment.
  • The candidate must restore, extract, and replace diseased and decayed teeth.
  • The candidate must perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and other treatments.
  • The candidate must supervise staff.
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing bridges, fitting dentures, and providing appliances.
  • The candidate must write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians.
  • The candidate must act as a consultant to other dentists.
  • The candidate must have knowledge of licensing regulations.
  • The candidate must consult with government regulatory and licensing agencies to ensure conformance to provincial standards.
  • The candidate must fabricate and repair crowns, bridges, or implants.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Candidate having experience is an asset.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Hindi and Italian is an asset.
  • The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
  • The candidate must be licensed by provincial or territorial authorities and have National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.

  • The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
  • The candidate must work in a private practice setting.
