Job Description

The candidate must sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products.
The candidate will be required to perform other labouring and elemental activities.
The candidate will be required to assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant either manually or using powered equipment.
The candidate will be required to transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
The candidate will be expected to assist process control and machine operators in carrying out their responsibilities.
The candidate will be required to clean work areas and equipment
The candidate will be required to load and unload vehicles using hand truck or dolly
The candidate will be required to check and weigh materials and products.
The candidate must ensure that the items are undamaged.
The candidate will be expected to ensure the safety and quality of food.
The candidate will be expected to keep the workplace safe and clean.
The candidate will be required to trim and cut meat (Training provided)
The candidate will be required to work with raw meat, specifically but not exclusively beef, pork, and chicken.
The candidate must inspect products and packaging for basic quality defects.
The candidate will be responsible for picking, sorting, labelling, bagging, packing, weighing, and boxing finished product.
At the end of each shift, the candidate will be required to sanitise all materials and machinery parts and clean the workspace at the worker station in accordance with company cleanliness standards.
The candidate must maintain a high level of personal and workplace hygiene.
