Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to control pipeline pressures and flow through the operation of remote-controlled equipment such as compressors and valves.
- They’re also appointed to produce various daily, weekly and monthly reports for distribution to management and other departments.
- Candidates are appointed for recording all activity related to system operation in the gas control logs.
- They’re also appointed to provide specific information regarding pipeline operations to other departments and management as requested.
Job requirement
- Candidate must attain successful completion of a Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution in a directly related field.
- Candidates must attain the ability to organize and evaluate data and make related, logical decisions.
- They must attain written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exchange technical information.
- Candidates must attain the ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure in an environment which can be high-stress.
Work setting
- Candidates must be more than 18 years old and authorized to work in Canada.
