Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are required to coordinate with the Stores Department to obtain parts for repairs of interior components.
- They’re also appointed at this post to assign work to Furnishing Apprentices working at this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to ensure a safe and tidy work area at this post.
- Candidates for this post are also required to ensure that the interior appearance and serviceability of WestJet aircraft are professionally maintained.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have completed 4 years of experience in aircraft interiors, removal and reinstallation to become eligible for this post.
- They must acquire dedicated interior maintenance experience to be preferred for this post.
- Candidates for this post must be able to coordinate with the Planning Department to develop the work scope for heavy check packages to be eligible for this post.
- They must have dedicated working knowledge of the illustrated parts catalogue, aircraft applicability and service bulletins to be eligible for this post.
- They must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and must be proven team players with the ability to build rapport with coworkers to get preferred for this post.
- They must have dedicated possession of CAMC or CCAA certification to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates for this post must attain the ability-restricted area pass issued by Transport Canada.
- Candidates must attain the ability to obtain an AVOP.
- Candidates must attain the ability to perform post-offer employment tests to test physical ability and fit for the position.
- Candidates must have a clear criminal background check to be eligible for this post.
