Job Description
- Candidates for this post are required to conduct sensory panels by preparing samples and assisting with tabulation of results and reporting.
- They’re also appointed at this post to manage specific portions of assigned projects including quality and process improvement.
- Candidates for this post are also required to develop all forms and procedures as required and maintain the HACCP Registry.
- Applicants for this post are required to perform daily, weekly, monthly, and as-required verifications for each program.
- Candidates for this post are required to assist the Food Center Manager in internal & external plant audits working at this post.
- Candidates appointed to this post are required to know about recalls and the ability to conduct mock recalls independently while working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates for this post must have completed a dedicated bachelor’s or 4 years of degree experience in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or Nutrition to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a Valid HACCP Certificate and a dedicated GFSI Scheme Practitioner to be eligible for this post.
- They must acquire basic laboratory experience including physical and organoleptic testing.
- Candidates for this post must have prior knowledge of lab procedures and interpretation of results, product development and quality assurance.
- They must have dedicated experience maintaining lab notes and completing scientific reports to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must acquire dedicated skills of kneeling, stooping, walking, standing, bending, repetitive motion, and weight handling skills to be preferred for this post.
