The Tailgate Bar & Grill is located in Montague, PE. The company is currently looking for applications for the Food and beverage server role. We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take on their responsibilities as soon as possible. The open positions are Permanent or part-time, leading to a full-time job. The timings of shifts may be Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, and Morning.

Job Description

  • The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
  • The candidate must present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveller’s cheques, or room billings.
  • The candidate must describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers.
  • The candidate will enforce provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection.
  • The candidate must balance cash and keep sales records.
  • The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
  • The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
  • The candidate will take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • A candidate with experience is an asset.
