Job description

  • The candidate in this position will be required to advise on menu selections.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to serve food.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to serve beverages.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to present bills to the customers.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to accept payment from customers cash, credit or debit cards, traveller’s cheque or room billings. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to describe the items in the menu to the customer. 
  • The candidate in this position will be required to describe the daily specials on the menu to the customer.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to prepare specialty food at customers’ tables.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to serve specialty food at customers’ tables.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to take orders.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to relay orders to kitchen staff.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to relay orders to bar staff.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to plan menus.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to greet patrons.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to present menus.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to make recommendations to the customers.
  • The candidate in this position will be required to answer questions from customers regarding the food and the beverages.
  • The candidate in this position will be working in a restaurant setting. 

Requirements 

  • The candidate needs no degree, certificate or diploma to apply for this job.
  • The candidate requires no equivalent experience to apply for this job.
  • The candidate requires no experience in the concerned field to apply for this job.
  • The candidate in this position should be able to work under pressure.
  • The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate in this position should be comfortable with it.
