Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to implement detailed plans and recommend policies/procedures regarding program-specific requirements working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for conducting research into assigned areas, ensuring that such research takes into account developments within the field working at this post.
- They’re also accountable for managing updated entries in PBF/CAPTOR/SAP systems and ensuring accuracy and completeness of the budget for assigned portfolios working at this post.
- Candidates are required to assist with the preparation and presentation of quarterly and year-end variance reports, analyses, and explanations.
- People who applied for this post are required to perform historical cost analysis and contribute to the preparation of reports/presentations for management/external reporting.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain post-secondary education in accounting, financial management, or business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must have considerable experience in the preparation of financial reports and analysis using programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word to be considered as an asset for this post.
- People must have experience in accounting and SAP or equivalent systems.
- They must attain experience conducting financial and program compliance audits independently and must have possession of a Chartered Professional Accountant designation to be eligible for this post.
- People must attain the ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced, constantly changing environment to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- People who applied for this post are appointed to generate costing models for various programs/locations to assist with cost-benefit analysis, such as per-diem & bed night cost analysis working at this post.
