Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for clearing fields of wood and stone.
- The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing livestock health issues.
- The candidate will be responsible for disinfecting pens, barns, and poultry houses.
- The candidate must be able to handle animals.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the calving process.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
- The candidate must prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving.
- The candidate will be responsible for tracking and reporting on current feed inventories.
- The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
- The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate must be a quick learner.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, livestock combination farming, and livestock farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.
Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience using tractors, farm trucks, haying equipment, loaders, tillage equipment, welding, and hand tools.

- The candidate must be knowledgeable about cattle breeding, beef cattle, and animal husbandry.
