Job Description
- The candidate must clean the crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the calving process.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- The candidate must write daily basic progress reports.
- The candidate must clean the work area.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
- The candidate should be reliable.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.
- The candidate must be a quick learner.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, dry pea and bean farming, hay farming, livestock combination farming, oilseed (except soybean) farming, organic farming, other grain farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, and wheat farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty, hot, and dirty conditions.
- The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate should work from a remote location, the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate whether the candidate would be ready to move into a new city/different city for a job.

Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience operating farm equipment such as a farm truck, tractor, combine harvester, haying equipment, manure spreader, planting equipment, seed drill, sprayer or duster, swather, tillage equipment, and hand tools.
