Job Description
- The candidate will be responsible for clearing fields of wood and stone.
- The candidate must be able to handle animals.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate will be responsible for weeding.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality control and production records.
- The candidate will have to milk cows.
- The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
- The candidate must maintain work records and logs.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
- The candidate must follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology, and cover crops.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
- The candidate must be flexible.
- The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include corn farming, hay farming, livestock combination farming, wheat farming, dairy farming, grain and oil crop production, and livestock farming.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
