Job Description

The candidate must apply fertilizers.
The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
The candidate must cultivate on vertical farming system.
The candidate will be responsible for guiding growing shoots into optimal development positions.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes.
The candidate must mix fertilizer.
The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
The candidate must manually remove all suckers and water sprouts.
The candidate will be responsible for weeding.
The candidate must clean the work area.
The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
The candidate must harvest crops.
The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for budding trees.
The candidate will be responsible for cutting horticultural crops.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
The candidate should be organized and flexible in nature.
The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
The candidate should be reliable.
The candidate should be a good team player.
The candidate should give importance to values and ethics.

Work site environment

The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
The type of farm operations is viticulture.
The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty and hot conditions.
The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Experience and specialization

Crops include apples, cherries, grapes, and vineyard.

Equipment and machinery experience

The candidate must have experience operating various equipment and machinery, including a farm truck, loader, tractor, fertilizer applicator, sprayer or duster and tillage equipment.

Automated systems experience

The candidate must have experience with automated irrigation systems.

The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
