Farm Worker

Log Barn 1912 Enterprises Corp based in Armstrong, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Farm Worker who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The Log Barn 1912 is a one-of-a-kind agricultural farm business that began in 1994 along Highway 97A in the small farming community of Armstrong, British Columbia. The original barn was built in 1912, hence the name of the business. The Mennonite family business began with the sale of fruits and vegetables from a small corn shack. Customers would come from far and wide just to buy their fresh produce, and most would stay for a while to enjoy the animals and the farm setting. Word of mouth quickly spread, and the business began to grow rapidly.

In 2006, the company began selling baked goods, meat and cheese products, and other items. Many of these recipes were adapted from Mennonite cookbooks. Old-fashioned sausages, cheese, pies, assorted pastries, jams and jellies are among our favourite creations. Food, according to the owners, is a cultural experience that transcends all differences and distances. It is more than just a source of nourishment; good food brings people together. This is the foundation upon which the Log Barn 1912 was built, and it still stands today. The food we prepare and sell at the Log Barn 1912 brings families together. Soon after starting the business, the Armstrong family decided to build a wooden goat walk attraction on their farm.

This iconic goat walk can still be seen for miles along highway 97A (it stands 30 feet high and 60 feet wide). People travel long distances to see the wooden goat walk! The Log Barn now has seventeen goats and four horses as members of the Log Barn family. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Permanent employment or Full-time job. The selected candidate will be required to work during the day shift. The position of Farm Worker has been approved by the LMIA
