Job Description

  • The candidate will be in charge of collecting brush.
  • The candidate will be in charge of cleaning the crop.
  • The candidate will be in charge of clipping.
  • The candidate will be in charge of fruit tree training.
  • The candidate will be in charge of grading.
  • The candidate will be in charge of cleaning the greenhouse.
  • The candidate will be in charge of harvesting vegetables by hand.
  • The candidate will be in charge of harvesting seedlings.
  • The candidate will be in charge of hoeing crops.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain and manage vine growth, vine canopy, and grapes.
  • The candidate will be in charge of mixing fertiliser.
  • The candidate will be expected to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
  • The candidate will be in charge of seed cutting.
  • The candidate will be in charge of shoot positioning.
  • The candidate will be in charge of stone and/or wood picking.
  • The candidate will be in charge of suckering.

  • The candidate will be expected to inspect the product for quality and prepare it for market.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should have good judgemental skills.

Work Site Environment

  • Farm operations include floriculture production, fruit and vegetable combination farming, and viticulture.
  • The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

  • The candidate must be willing to work in a rural area.

Experience and Specialization

Apiary and honey harvesting experience

  • The candidate must have Apiary and honey harvesting experience with honey bees.

Type of product

  • Product types include coniferous trees, deciduous trees, native plants, and perennials.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have prior experience with a farm truck, a fertiliser applicator, a fruit harvester, a tractor, and a vegetable harvester.
