Job Description
- Candidates working in this post are appointed the interact with national park reserve visitors to provide basic information and direction, litter picking, performing compliance activities, and empty trash receptacles.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have experience in providing cleaning services and must attain dedicated knowledge of how to read and follow instructions for the use of cleaning products to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must be able to listen to others and communicate articulately, fostering open communication to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain experience in providing cleaning services in a campground, park, commercial or institutional environment to be considered as an asset for this post.
- Applicants must have reliable security clearance and a valid class 5 driver’s license.
- They must be able to lift supplies, tools and equipment such as buckets and large bags of garbage to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They’re appointed at this post to dust and wash walls and windows and are also required to pick up litter and trash.
- Applicants are required to travel to various outdoor sites with exposure to weather elements.
- Applicants must be able to be exposed to noxious odours from cleaning products to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must be able to work/ travel in varied terrain and weather conditions throughout the PRNPR work area to be considered as an asset for this post.
Work setting
- Candidates must be able to perform certain physical tasks as per job requirements to be eligible for this post.
- They must be exposed to stress when responding to fluctuating, unpredictable priorities and must perform NPR compliance activities to be considered as an asset for this post.
