Job description
- Candidates will report to the Manager of Facilities Management Operations and Maintenance.
- They will perform a wide variety of repairs, maintenance and services to buildings, grounds and equipment.
- They are responsible for reviewing mechanical equipment performance.
- They are also responsible for planning and coordinating the work of contracted trades, ESA, TSSA and Fire inspections.
Job requirement
- All the candidates must have One (1) year of post secondary training in Building Environment Systems.
- They must know about Gas Technician and Building Automation Systems Specialist.
- They must have over three (3) years of progressive experience managing commercial as well as institutional buildings.
Work setting
- Candidates must have an excellent communication skills to effectively deal with all clients, trades and the public.
- They must be capable of maintaining written work logs.
- They must be physically fit to do labour intensive work including lifting and climbing ladders.
