Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for promoting conference and meeting services, as well as special events.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and selecting sites.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing media strategies and public relations activities.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing sponsorship, partnership, and fundraising programs.
  • The candidate must solicit event donors.
  • The candidate must review bids and negotiate costs.
  • The candidate must assist in budget preparation.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring conference and meeting activities, as well as attending to related details.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating media services.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.
  • The candidate must confirm and coordinate speakers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for implementing social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services.
  • The candidate must set up and monitor, or arrange for the setting up and monitoring of multi-media equipment.
  • The candidate must plan schedules, goals, and objectives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for developing registration systems and information materials.
  • The candidate must plan for required documentation, as well as pre- and post-distribution of documentation (itineraries, evaluations, etc.).
  • The candidate will be responsible for researching and designing special event programs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for planning social events and guest programs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing event logistics.
  • The candidate must plan and oversee webinars.
  • The candidate will be responsible for advising clients on advertising and sales promotion strategies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising office and volunteer staff.
  • The candidate must be familiar with project management.
  • The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
  • The candidate must maintain and manage digital database.
  • The candidate must answer to both written and oral inquiries.
  • The candidate will be responsible for conducting analytical marketing studies.
  • The candidate will be responsible for designing market research questionnaires.
  • The candidate must prepare funding applications.
  • The candidate must prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity, and information programs, materials, and sessions.
  • The candidate must gather, research, and prepare communication materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for coordinating special publicity events and promotions.

  • The candidate must develop a portfolio of marketing materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for writing and editing press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials.
