Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of contractors, colleagues, elected officials, and other internal and external clients.
- They’re also appointed to represent the City on committees, including providing input at meetings.
- Candidates are also appointed to provide technical advice, reviews and expertise and utilise standard engineering principles and practices.
- They’re also appointed to review engineering analyses and evaluate new systems, work procedures and technologies in the organization.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a dedicated post-secondary education in a civil engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education.
- Candidate must attain a valid Province of Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Candidates must attain superb technical, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Candidates must attain proficiency in handling MS Office and other computer software.
- They must attain the ability to support the Toronto Public Service to ensure a culture that champions equity.

- Candidates must attain strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
