Job Description
- Candidates who applied for this post are required to work with other trades, including working with heating, ventilating, air conditioning and plumbing systems.
- They’re also accountable at this post to work independently to organize and plan work projects working at this post.
- They’re required at this post to perform heavy manual inside and outdoor work in all types of weather conditions which may be in high locations working at this post.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed completion of Grade 12 and an Electrical Trades Certification to be eligible for this post.
- They must have a Class B Ticket with FSR and must have previous experience and training as qualified trades Electricians.
- They must have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license with safe driving history to be eligible for this post.
- Applicants must have a good knowledge of high and low-voltage installations, pumps and controls, communication, alarm and heat systems.
- They must have good knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and related codes to be considered as an asset for this post.
- They must have a good knowledge of the standard practices, principles, methods, materials, codes, and equipment used in electrical trade to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- Applicants who applied for this post are required to assemble, install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, maintain, connect or test electrical fixtures and wiring for systems of communication working at this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read and work from blueprints, sketches and other specifications to be eligible for this post.
