Job Description
- The candidate will be expected to install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
- The candidate must keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
- The candidate must test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity.
- The candidate will be expected to troubleshoot and isolate faults.
- The candidate will be expected to train apprentices.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising other employees.
- The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- The candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications in order to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate will be responsible for supervising electricians.
- The candidate must have Electrician Trade Certification.
Work site environment
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The candidate must be able to work in cold/refrigerated and hot conditions.
