Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all vehicle aspects.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
• The candidate must have a certificate or diploma in another trade.
• The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A) and a Driver’s License (Class 3 or D).
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

Experience and specialization

Documentation knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip).

Type of trucking and equipment

• Trucking and equipment types include straight truck (4,600 kg+ or 10,000 lbs+ with 3+ axles) and tractor-trailer A train.

Communication systems experience

• The candidate will operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigational equipment.

Transportation/travel experience

• The candidate must have transportation and travel experience at the regional level.

Additional information

Security and safety

• The candidate should be subjected to a thorough driver’s licence validity check and driving record check (abstract).

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
