Job Description

  • The candidate must assist health care practitioners during examinations and treatments.
  • The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
  • The candidate must assess patients in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
  • The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
  • The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
  • The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
  • The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.
  • The candidate must provide supportive counselling and life skills programming.
  • The candidate must perform administrative tasks.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate does not have any supervision responsibilities.
  • The candidate must be licensed as a Registered nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.

Work setting

  • The candidate must work in a physician’s office, a private clinic, or a rheumatology centre.
