Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
  • The candidate will be required to stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
  • The candidate would be in charge of wrapping and portioning foods.
  • The candidate would be responsible for cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • The candidate will be required to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • The candidate will be required to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
  • The candidate would be responsible for operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
  • The candidate will be required to change dishwater in dish machine every hour
  • The candidate will be required to place and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
  • The candidate will be required to maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes, and preps foods as needed. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
  • The candidate will be required to sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
  • The candidate will be required to maintain clean or dry floors throughout the shift.
  • The candidate must not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without first washing their hands.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping trash cans clean throughout the shift and removing full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
  • The candidate would be in charge of keeping the dry storage area clean and organising the storage shelves.
  • The candidate would be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
  • The candidate would be responsible for reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
  • The candidate must ensure that work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
  • The candidate will be required to check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical or performance issues.
  • The candidate will be required to assists in the timely storing of food deliveries.
  • The candidate would be responsible for removing garbage regularly.
  • The candidate would be responsible for preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • The candidate must ensure that there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
  • The candidate would be responsible for supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • The candidate would be in charge of maintaining cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents) and placing orders as needed.
  • The candidate will be required to notify the manager if the temperature of the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below the safety standard.

  • The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7 months to 1 year of working experience in similar industry.
