Job Description

  •  They’re accountable at this post to implement, monitor and revise the Framework as needed working at this post.
  • Candidates applying for this post are required to track and report internally on emerging trends and policy developments at various levels of government and Indigenous organizations, identifying challenges and opportunities working at this post.
  • They’re accountable at this post to lead the local business support activities, along with the investment attraction and foreign direct investment activities of the City applied for this post.
  • People who apply for this post are accountable for building networks across the region and beyond that can be leveraged to help achieve objectives.
  • They’re also appointed at this post to provide relevant support and lead a team that serves as a ‘connector’ for Surrey’s existing business community to help them grow and prosper working at this post.

Job requirement 

  • Candidates applying for this post must possess a post-secondary degree in a related field to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have 10+ years of progressively responsible professional experience related to government relations,  economic development and strategic program development.
  • Candidates who apply for this post must attain excellent communications skills, solid organizational and strategic planning experience and the ability to build and leverage robust networks to achieve ambitious goals to be eligible for this post.
