Job Description 

  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to increase attendance, awareness, understanding, support and participation in the Royal BC Museum’s programs, exhibitions, research initiatives, and archival and other merchandise services.
  • They’re also responsible for creating and distributing relevant and consistent content to attract and engage target audiences. 
  • Candidates working in this post are appointed to contribute to increasing awareness of the Royal BC Museum and its offerings, as well as the objective of increasing revenues and attendance at the museum. 

Job requirement 

  • Candidates must be required to bring a wealth of expertise to the organization to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have post-secondary education in marketing, communications, computer science or a related field.
  • They must acquire an equivalent combination of education and experience that may be considered instead of a post-secondary degree.
  • They must have dedicated experience in planning, implementing and reporting on digital marketing and social media to be eligible for this post. 
  • They must have dedicated experience in WordPress, Google Analytics, budgets, SEO, email and content marketing to be eligible for this post.
  • Candidates must have dedicated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, photography and videography to be preferred for this post.
