Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the costs of projects.
• The candidate must prepare detailed specifications.
• The candidate must be able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• The candidate must create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes.
• The candidate must read blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
• The candidate will advise on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and the space’s purpose.
• The candidate must develop detailed plans and 3D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
• The candidate will develop plans, elevations, cross sections, and detailed drawings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should be organized and flexible.
• The candidate must be capable of acting on their initiative.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about ARCHICAD, SolidWorks software, 20/20 design, 3D graphic software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Autodesk REVIT, InDesign, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and SketchUp.

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in sitting, standing, and walking positions.
• The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• The candidate must finish the work within the given timeline.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
