Job Description
- Candidates working at this post are appointed to spend most of the day outside, delivering mail and packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route.
- Candidates are also appointed to return to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
Job requirement
- They must have a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain the ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg regularly throughout the day.
- Candidates must attain the ability to work in all types of weather to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain availability to be on-call to be eligible for this post.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English or French to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They must have dedicated experience in customer service and required experience in making deliveries or working as a driver to be eligible for this post
